We've used Union of D.C. Movers twice for loading and unloading a truck. They were on time, worked fast, and packed the truck well. We had trouble getting our truck and they were fine coming back the next day, no extra charge. Review form Happy Customer : Very Affordable Local movers in Washington, DC (20009) Hi, my name is John Tardelli and used Union of DC Movers for my local move in DC(20009). I was very pleased with the service . I do not have expensive furniture and packed most stuff up myself but they did a great job dismantling what needed to be and reassembling the other end together with moving all my boxes. The bed was tricky to get down from my 5th floor walk up apt but they made everything look simple and easy. They protected what needed to be protected but this was just your regular crate and barrel or ikea stuff. No Louis XII chairs or grandfather clocks for me! Price was exactly what they quoted me before (+ a tip) and done in less time.

Good day, my name is Tonya Lucas and I would like to recommend Alexandria-moving.net for one very simple reason: they were my rescue when I was going through the most awful move by an absolutely criminal company. My belongings were being held hostage by one of those horrible moving companies you always hear about. I had to pay thousands of dollars to get my belongings out of their warehouse but that is another review for another company. Alexandria Moving came to my rescue, gave me an honest price, were willing to go get my stuff from the other company's warehouse and treated me at every step with courtesy and sympathy for what I was going through. I was a panicked person and they made me feel able to get things settled. 5-star moving service in Maryland- very affordable and reliable !!! We just finished a (what could have been grueling) 3-part move and I was so pleased with Union of D.C. Movers service I actually had to call them up to tell them so afterwords. This family-owned, local moving company has guys working for it that are incredibly professional, careful, energetic, strong, and full of creative packing ideas. And they manage to have a sense of humor all the while! We hired them three times in three months to 1) move my mother-in-law to a retirement community, 2) move all our furniture out of our new house so we could have the floors refinished, and, 3) move our 20-something-years-worth of possessions from Baltimore to Silver Spring.
